Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police, Police headquarters, Bhopal has a vision to make cyber space, a safer place. Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police is evolving into following wings.

1. Crime Monitoring and Analysis Wing :- Crime Monitoring Wing shall receive the inputs from all over districts about the crime reported and registered, hence will monitor the new kind of technology related crimes occurring. The Crime monitoring wing will have regular coordination with Mobile service providers, Internet service providers, banks, credit card companies and financial institution who shall be reporting the offences noticed by them.

Crime analysis wing will get input from crime monitoring wing and will analyze the pattern of criminal activities and subsequently take cognizance ,if offence occurs. The wing will be monitoring the investigation of the cases and will suggest about missed actions by investigators. The CRIME MONITORING AND ANALYSIS WING is divided in to following desk on the basis of types of complaint.

A. Credit card desk
B. Internet crime desk
C. Mobile related crime desk
D. Money laundering desk

2. Crime Investigation Wing :- As soon as the Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police receives order from IGP/DIG Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police , an enquiry of the complaint shall start by crime investigation wing .Crime investigation wing of Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police will be divided into four zones namely Bhopal,jabalpur, indore and Gwalior.The CRIME INVESTIGATION WING will -

· Provide a national coordinated approach to combating and investigate serious, complex and multi-jurisdictional technology enabled crimes, especially those beyond the capability of single jurisdictions.

· Assist in improving the capacity of all jurisdictions to deal with technology enabled crime and take up the same for investigation if they fail.

3. Crime Intelligence wing :- On the basis of information received from crime monitoring cell, news paper, media and public, Crime intelligence wing will generate intelligence out of it and will send the same to the police authorities and government to take proper preventive and policy decision.

4. Cyber Crime forensics wing :- Crime forensics wing will collect the digital evidences involved in crime. After collection of the digital evidence, the wing will look for relevant information in it in forensically prescribed manner. As the evidences are established to be relevant in case the same will be sent to forensics experts for comments.

5. Cyber crime training center :- With the advent of information technology the cyber crimes and use of technology in crimes is on increase. Hence digital evidences are to be collected in prescribed forensic manner. Majority of investigating officers are not aware of the procedures of collection of digital evidences, hence cyber crime training center will train them in collection of digital evidence and investigation of cyber crime.

6. Mobile Cyber Units :- At present Madhya Pradesh Cyber Police has been established at Bhopal to cater the needs of whole state. In coming years mobile cyber units equipped with model computer forensics gazettes will be setup at other major cities like Indore, Jabalpur and Gwalior.
